Feds sting Amish farmer selling raw milk locally – Washington Times

Feds sting Amish farmer selling raw milk locally – Washington Times.

This isn’t what a typical post looks like for me, but I’m a little upset by what is happening.  You have got to read this article in the Washington Times ( the link above) and check it out.  I’m part of a farm co-op in which we enter personal contracts with farmers so that we can get raw milk and many other raw products and GREAT healthy food!  Our farm also supplies pork, poultry, lamb, beef, fermented products, books (like [amazon_link id=”B001UWCK14″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Nourishing Traditions[/amazon_link]) and so much more.  Our family has benefited so much from these great food products and I would hate to see anything happen to it.

It frustrates me to no end that the government feels that they need to get involved and tell us what we can and can’t eat. That we as human individuals don’t know what is best for us and need their protection. Just take a look at the people who are entering these buying clubs. I can guarantee they are all WELL educated and have done TONS of research before even thinking about purchasing and consuming the raw products, specifically the raw milk.

I just had to post this so that maybe others can see what is going on in our nation. I feel so bad for this farmer and his family and what they are going through, all for other fellow Americans; trying to provide healthy food to help a sick nation recover their health. It breaks my heart. What has this nation come to???

Pray for this farmer and if you are up for it, there will be a rally in front of the capital on May 16th at 10am. Here is a link to their facebook page. I’m hoping to be there, but can’t guarantee it. I really hope there is a HUGE turnout and that the Government and FDA realize that there are a lot of people who don’t approve of their practices or what they are trying to do….

Please… tell me your thoughts!

    1. Sorry. It is a grain and hubby can’t have it, so we don’t use it! I try to keep my ‘flours’ to a minimum otherwise there are too many options out there that it would fill my pantry just to keep them on hand. Better luck elsewhere!
