Sorry not much to say this week. I was out of town to visit my Dad’s side of the family in FL for a long weekend. I wish it was for happier times, but my grandfather passed away last month and we were having a memorial for him. I took Xanthie with me and the other kiddos stayed at home with Papa. He had a lot of fun things planned for them, but unfortunately they got the stomach bug so I don’t think they even left the house.

All that to say it’s been a bit crazy around here. The CSA arrived after I had already left for FL, so hubby took a pic for me. But since I was gone and didn’t have my trusty laptop, I wasn’t able to pull a post together. So needless to say this is a last minute note to say there isn’t a post for this delivery week!

So I hope each of you have had a good week. Thankfully kiddos seem to be on the mend and I’m starting to come out of the travel fog. I wasn’t even gone that long but Xanthie was also sick while we were away and she only slep 1-2 hours at a time each night… and had times of being awkey for 1-2 hours in the middle of the night. Needless to say I was hardly coherent once I arrived home. With in arriving home, I spent and hour or two with the kiddos and then off to bed. I slept for 4 hours and then slept again for 9 hours that night! And I still feel like I’m behind the 8 ball!…

Anyway…

Enough about the trip… I’m not going to give any new recipes this week, but hopefully we will be back to normal next week!
