I can easily grow accustom to this ole land and take for granted the freedom I have and it’s great cost.  There is really something special about seeing our grand ole flag and hearing the Star Spangled Banner. Pride and love swells in my heart for this land and it’s people. I’m forever grateful for the life God has given me and the land in which I live!  There are few days that I think about how blessed I am and this is one of those days.  It isn’t often enough that I stop and look at what I have and see what others don’t have all around the world and bow my knee and thank God for his goodness to me.

I’m proud of my country and I love this land.  I’m not saying it’s perfect and it definitely isn’t heaven.  But I’ve been given so much and today I choose to be grateful for what I have and not look or dwell on what I don’t have.  So many have laid down their live at such a great cost to provide me this gift.  Men and women past and present.  Some have died and some live lives with severe deformity, loss, difficulty and struggle.  They did that for me and for this here land we love. Thank you.  I’m so grateful for your sacrifice.
