So each year I like to have a goal of completing 12 fiction and 12 non fiction. Sometimes I come close and sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I actually stick to the books listed and sometimes I find new ones that look more interesting or something that pertains to life NOW that I want to read. If so, I don’t stress about it…
The main reason I have this goal is just to remind myself to make time to read. Make time for me to enjoy a good book and also some time to help me grow and learn new things! So here is my list for 2013!
Let me know if you’ve read any of these and what you thought! If it’s a disappointing book, I don’t want to waste my time reading it!

Sounds great to me! I’d love to! I’m not sure yet where I’m going to get the raw milk and coconut oil books… don’t really want to buy them, but the library doesn’t have them… we will see… might see if there is someone I could borrow them from!

I picked up my copy of A Thousand Gifts a few weeks ago and started where I had left off before. Makes me wonder why I ever put it down. I also received an accompanying devotional for Christmas.

I know! I keep picking it up and once I start reading it I wonder why I didn’t finish… You will have to let me know how the devotional is. I’ve seen it and wondered about it!

I’ve read it, but need to read it again! 😉 I remember that it was really good, but I can’t remember why…I guess that indicates a need for a reread!

I’ve always found Randy’s tacheing to be much more biblical than that of the more popular Dave Ramsey. I think Ramsey has a larger following because he speaks so much of how easy it is to obtain wealth once the listener/reader is debt free.It is very sad that many Christian families must have both parents work in order to pay the interest on all of their loans each month. The cycle leads to little family time and the children being raised by a third party. It is hard to train a child in the way he is to go when all your time must be spent working to pay for things that are not necessary. May true Christians repent of their greed and turn their hearts toward the kingdom and raising Godly families.
