Birth of Avi Tobias Mintz

Avi (God is my Father) Tobias (God is good) Mintz

was born this January 5, 2015 at 6:02pm.
He was only 21 weeks 2 days.

He never took his first cry, he never got to see his papa’s face or know his mama’s love, but he is with Jesus and that love is a much greater love for him and for us.

We are sad and mourn his loss. His life was way too short. It wasn’t meant to be this way. He is perfect in everyway and we will miss him.

  2. Bethanie,
i met you and your precious family at a mutual friend birthday barbecue over the summer, and have been silently reading your blog here and there. After not doing so for a while, the news of your son is what i check into today. I know it might be still fresh, but i wanted to reach out and send prayers your way.My heart is filled with sadness and please accept our deepest sympathies.
Trust in HIM deeply and let your heart be your guide, Grace and peace to you.

  3. Hi Bethanie,

I’ve been reading your blog for the first time and catching up on your last several months. I just want you to know I will be praying for you and your family as you continue to learn to move forward after the loss of little Avi Tobias.

    Love in Christ, Cidny

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” Lamentations 3:22-24

    1. Thank you so much Cidny. You are so kind. Because of our journey, the life and growth of little Milo is even more precious to us. We don’t know the struggles his parents (and grandparents) are going through, but we do know the pain of loss even if it’s loss of things not going they way you expect. God has given us a new love for people, especially those walking through difficulty in the growth of their families. I appreciate your encouragement and fresh reminders from God’s Word.
