Merry Christmas

I just wanted to have a quick, short and sweet post to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas!  I hope the season  has been enjoyable and special!  We have had a great time celebrating with family and friends through the season.

I also think something visual is a great way of expressing the feelings of the season.  This first video is of a group called Walk Off the Earth.  Brian loves this group and is always playing there stuff.  One of the first songs that Aisling learned to sing was Magic by the same group.  So this is for you Babe…Happy Christmas!  I love you, Baby!

And one more video as well.  This is to convey the true reason for the season.  Let us rejoice in the birth of our Savior and the salvation that it brings! Remember in all the festivities, good food, gifts and family that the real reason to celebrate is the true, lasting, saving, enduring, life giving, humble, exalted GREAT gift of Christ!  Merry Christmas!

Christmas Traditions

Do you have traditions that you do every year?  I remember the many awesome things we used to do as kids!  Now that we have kids of our own we want to incorporate some of what Brian and I did as kids, but we also want to have our own traditions as well. Continue reading “Christmas Traditions”

Rosemary Sage Turkey

I know this post probably won’t be quite that helpful since it is AFTER Thanksgiving, but if you have turkey again for Christmas or New Years, maybe it will come in handy! Or if you are anything like us… God provides in amazing ways! Continue reading “Rosemary Sage Turkey”

Baltimore – Part II

So after a FANTASTIC start to the trip, we really enjoyed the rest of our stay.

The beautiful hotel is in the historic building that used to be the headquarters for the B&O railroad.

The Hotel Monaco Baltimore was amazing!  While we were checking in they had a treasure box full of all sorts of things kids would like.  Each of the kids got to pick something out!  Tonchi picked an art kit from [amazon_link id=”B00005JNS0″ target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Disney’s Cars movie[/amazon_link], Koa picked a flashlight (not surprising if you know him at all!), and Aisling picked a pack of 1000 stickers.  These kept them occupied during any spare moment we had and they didn’t even play with the few matchbox cars or books that we brought with us! Balitmore

I know… not a usual posting topic for me… but I’m trying to let you in more on the workings and activities of our family.  This will probably be a LLLOOONNNGGG post because of the escapades we had!  Some good… some not so great!  But it was a memorable few days for sure! Miscarriage

A few weeks back I made mention of being 7 weeks pregnant.  And I was… but I’m not anymore.   It was a few weeks back, but only now do I feel like I’ve had enough healing that I can post about it.  It was quite unexpected since I hadn’t had any problems with my previous pregnancies. But then again, I think all miscarriages are unexpected and no matter how many you have I can only imagine it gets worse each time. Continue reading “Miscarriage”
