So many of you commented and followed the investigation and sting of the dairy farmer Dan Allgyer in PA. He is still working through this situation and will be taking it to court. At this point there isn’t anything that either you or I could really do to help him… or is there?!?!?

I was just alerted to the fact that Congressman Ron Paul has introduced a bill that would make the interstate transportation and sale of raw milk and raw milk products legal for human consumption. Oh, how much we need this! The bill is marked HR 1830 and YOU and sign a petition with a comment or two and have it sent to our congressman.

Just read the highlighted points of the bill, add a comment or two (tasteful and gracious comments, please) fill out the form with contact information at the right of the page and click “Send your message”. It will send your petition to all your government representatives! Could it be any easier?

One other thing can be done. The Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund does raise money to help support these farmers. Many of them have no way to even fathom paying legal defense fees. And this is a way that we can contribute just a few dollars to help support them. What a great way to voice our appreciation for their hard work and willingness to serve us by producing and selling us the healthy foods we long for!
